Executive Committee
- Chair, Stephen Senyk
Steve began his career in education as the Principal at Yellow Creek School, and later moved into the position of Educational Officer at the Regional Provincial Correctional Centre a few years later. Throughout his career, Steve has held such positions including Associate Dean, Acting President and CEO, and Institutional Analyst within the educational system.
Steve has always been an active member in his community, and has received recognition for his continued dedication. In 2003 and 2011, Steve received the Ukrainian Self Reliance League Award of Excellence, and in 2015 Steve was awarded the UCC Saskatchewan Nation Builders Award. Steve also played a leading role in having Mohyla Institute recognized as a National Historic Event by the Government of Canada.
- Vice-Chair, Martin Zip
Martin began his career in education as a teacher before establishing Mr. Zip Instant Printing of Saskatoon, and went on to participate in the Executive Development Program at the Printing Industries of America. Currently Martin is the Executive Director of the Saskatchewan Graphic Arts Industries Association.
Martin’s commitment to his community can be seen by the 30 different volunteer positions he has held on different organizations. Martin has received recognition for his volunteerism by receiving the Reg Gyles Award for Business Volunteer of the Year from the Chamber of Commerce in 1989, Distinguished President Kiwanis Club of Saskatoon in 1996, the Award of Merit from the Canadian Printing Industries Association in 1996, the Volunteer of the Year Award from the Salvation Army Division of Northern Saskatchewan in 2001, and Life-Time Member of Saskatchewan Graphic Arts Industries Association in 2002.
- Secretary, Gerald Luciuk
Gerry received his Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science and Arts, and Masters of Science in Chemistry and Soil Sciences from the University of Saskatchewan. Gerry began his career in international development and cooperation following his education, and has served as the policy advisor to the Ministry of Agriculture in Ukraine. Gerry worked as the Director of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada for 25 years, until establishing Luciuk Consulting and Management in 2006, where he is currently the Director. While also running his consultant firm, Gerry is also the Vise President at MPG Consultants.
- Treasurer, Nadia Maruschak-Clay
Currently, Nadia is the Financial Reporting and Operations Manager at the Saskatoon Health Region.
- Member-At-Large, Larry Klopoushak
Larry worked as an educator within the Saskatoon Public School Division for 31 years. Larry is also an established musician, as has been a member of the U of S Greystone Singers, Saskatoon Opera Association, and the Saskatoon Men's Chorus, along with many other music ensembles.
Larry is very involved within the community, and was the choir director at the Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral of the Holy Trinity for 35 years. Larry went on to found the esteemed Lastiwka Ukrainian Orthodox Choir and Orchestra 32 years ago. Larry has received recognition for his work by being the recipient of the Rotary Fellowship Metal for Outstanding Contribution to the Arts, the Ukrainian Congress Community Recognition Award in Cultural Preservation and Development, and the Konstantin Pihrov Medal for Choral Arts awarded in Kyiv in 2013.

- Dr. Bernie Trischuk
Following his high school graduation in Cudworth, Saskatchewan, Bernie moved to Saskatoon to pursue his education at the University of Saskatchewan. While at the university, Bernie stayed at Mohyla Institute, which is where he met his wife Mary Ann. After completing his education in 1978, Bernie moved with his wife to Yorkton, where they have resided for 36 years. Bernie and Mary Ann have four children, two of whom also attended Mohyla Institute during their own studies.
